Karnataka Trip – Part II (VV Puram Food Street and The Second Largest monolith in Asia (Madhugiri Fort)

VV Puram Food Street (Visveswara Puram) – Bangalore:

This is heaven for the foodie’s which will make them fly in cloud nine. This is Bangalore’s largest stretch of food stalls. There will be around 20-30 vendors selling Indian, North Indian and Chinese dishes/ Eatables/ Goodies. This is the best place for the people who love street foods and wanted to taste different varieties under one umbrella (Place).

I am shocked to see the crowd over there once I reached. But later I understood the reason behind such a crowd. All the dishes which I had were delicious. VV Puran Food street host many eateries serving various types of items such as Ragi Roti, Akki Roti, Kodu Bele, Paniyaram or paddus, Idli, Vadas, Pav Bhaji, Dabeli, Uttapams, and Dosas (Different varieties), Curd Rice, Lemon Rice, Vermicelli Upma, Rose milk, Parathas, Lassis, fried rice and noodles, the chaat, bread pakora, cutlets, Pani puri etc.

The price of the food starts from Rs. 10. We had 3 dishes such as Averabelle dosa, Churmur chaat and finally the best Rasmalaai. All these items tasted very delicious and especially Rasmalaai topped the day. Attached the photos of the dishes below and video of the food street has been upload in my media (WordPress.com). I could not able to upload the video with the post, since i am new to wordpress and i dont have the premium as well.

How to reach there:

  1. Bike/ Taxi would be the best way to reach here.
  2. Nearest Bus/ Metro Station: National College (Take the VV Puram exit and ask for Sajjan Rao Circle, it is around 1km from the metro station).

Hi all, This is Le~Lonewolf the wanderer. My partner in travel is my Bike. Wanderlust is not a simple word to be explained. Once you enter the world to explore by any means of transport then you would understand how big the world is and you will be lost into it. If you wanted to come back from it, then you need to be a Wanderlust Person. One thing which motivates me in my Life is "Travel". Everyone wants to have money when they get older but instead of saving money, start saving memories. Explore different cultures, meet unknown peoples, taste varieties of food across the country, understand the background of each and every festival and above all know the 1000s of years history of our country.
